Clothing

The children have the opportunity to go out in all weathers, so please supply suitable clothing.  Children should be protected from the sun, so we would recommend  that you dress your child in a top with sleeves rather than sleeveless and have a sunhat available during hot weather.  In wet weather, a named pair of Wellingtons and suitable outer clothing would be appreciated.

All clothes that are likely to be taken off, especially jumpers, coats, hats, scarves, gloves etc., must be clearly labelled with your child’s name.  It is easier to return lost items to their rightful owner if they are named.

Parents Meetings / Contact Books

Each summer term we hold parents meetings.  You will be given the opportunity of meeting one of your child’s teachers for a discussion about their development / work.

We also have contact books between home and school, which we write in on a regular basis and we encourage you to make relevant comments and keep us informed of your child’s progress at home.

Should you have a query at any time, the Nursery has an ‘open door’ policy, so there is normally someone available to talk to.  However, if this is not possible for any reason, a mutually convenient appointment will be made.
